Usage

This page describes the core workflow and a few tips for a smooth setup.

Install

• Download the latest build from the Download page.
• Launch SnapAct and keep it running in the tray.

Core workflow

1. Trigger a hotkey to capture a region or read text.
2. Review or edit the text in the overlay.
3. Start translation (streaming output).
4. Copy the result.

Tips

• If capturing doesn’t work on macOS, make sure Screen Recording permission is granted.
• If “selected text” mode returns nothing, try copying the selection first.
